Looking for a book not owned by the Columbia County Public Library? In many cases, we can borrow it from another library. Interlibrary loans have been one of our library services for many years. Library users have been able to make requests in person or by phone, and now, starting February 1st, you can make interlibrary loan requests via e-mail. Be sure to include as much information about the requested item as you can. Either title and author or a specific subject are required. Other information such as ISBN, publisher and date of publication are often helpful. You will also need to include your library card number, your name, and the library location (Main, Fort White, West) where you would like to pick up the book. Please e-mail your requests to columbiaill@neflin.org, or you may continue to make requests by phone or in person, using the familiar pink form. Registered library users in good standing may have up to 3 requests at one time. Please remember that interlibrary loans usually take 4-6 weeks, so make sure to give yourself plenty of time.
